Breitbart, RedState, The Western Journal and The Epoch Times report that Vice President JD Vance was at a midterm rally in North Platte, Nebraska, on Thursday, October 22, when a woman in the crowd suffered a medical emergency. According to Breitbart, Vance stepped down from the stage, climbed into the stands to check on her, and led the crowd in prayer while medical personnel attended to her. The outlets say the woman told Vance it was her first rally. Vance wrote on X that he hoped she would recover quickly and thanked the medical staff and first responders. Newsweek, as cited by Breitbart, reported that she appeared to recover.
